iPlasmaCMS 2.1.1 Update Coming Soon

Our development team has been hard at work on the new upgrade for iPlasmaCMS.  We decided to combine our Q3 and Q4 update into one package.  There are a lot of new features coming out and we are hoping to deploy this new upgrade in the next week - however we will keep you updated if this changes.

Below is a list of features for the next update, enjoy!

iPlasmaCMS 2.1.1 Update (Q3/Q4 2010)

Bug Fixes:  

• Content Page Links in WYSIWYG will now process symbols properly (‘,?, etc)
• Content Page Titles will include validation to avoid broken pages
• Disable error reporting for production sites (You will no longer see Application Errors once the site is live).
  
• Documents Module: Fix Share button link to documents

Module Improvements:
Staff Directory Module

• Include Sorting Capabilities (alphabetically, then manually using arrows)

SEF URLs for News and Blog Modules 

• Manually enter SEF URL
• Enable/disable + manual entry check

Events Module

• Display mini-calendar for Start Date and End Date
• Display drop down for start time and end time (with 2nd drop down for AM/PM)
• Allow for “All Day” events
• Cleanup “Recurring Events”
• Include “Add Event” button to Events Dashboard to generate an event without having to click the day in the calendar
• Add additional category colors

User Experience Improvements:
ERROR Handler

• User friendly 404 page. Current is an error message dropping user stack data.

Access Control Lists 

• Assign user permissions: Standard: Add, Editor: Add/Edit, Admin: Add/Edit/Delete
• Permissions per page (mirrored to sub-pages)

Traffic Module 

• traffic module date range selection
• list of visits by state/city
• pagination of top pages, referring sites, and keywords rather than only top 20 display
• analytics admin user check
• fix styles for tab labels

Content Manager / Page Editor 

• Include balloon for + icon “Click to view sub-pages”
• Include edit icon (pencil) to the left of page title in Content Manager list
• META Descriptions for Content Pages (in Page Editor)
• Field for manual SEF Page Title override
• TinyMCE links to Module content (in MySite tab)
